thanks everyone for a perfectly pleasant stay during your spanish holidays. the room was reasonably spacious and well decorated with a beautiful view of the beach and the rock dull throbbing noise from the port. i found the hotel's location stunning and good, next to seville airport and the harbour of algeciras.

A clean, economical and reasonably comfortable establishment, with the benefit of quiet rooms facing the beach, with balconies. Staff all very polite, and extremely efficient. The bar/cafe/restaurant area is very pleasant and the cuisine is excellent for the money. We will certainly stay there again.
We were told that the bar staff were not allowed to converse with the customers, even if we were the only people there. This seemed bizarre, because rule number 1 of hospitality, to make your customers spend more, is that people feel at home and welcome and can get local information from the local staff. The drinking glasses were not changed for a whole week and there was only one pillow per person.

During my recent stay at a hotel in a built-up area, I unfortunately experienced some noise issues due to dogs barking day and night. It seemed like one of the dogs belonged to someone working at the hotel. Despite this, the hotel itself was very clean and the room was comfortable. The highlight was the lovely view from the room. The hotel's location was also great as it was just a short walk to the beach and a convenient base for visiting Gibraltar. Although the food was nothing special, overall, I would recommend this hotel for a budget-friendly stay.

The cleanliness and comfort
I did not like the fact that there was nowhere to sit outside, except on the balcony of the room

The room was well decorated, clean, bathroom 'sparkling', air conditioning/heating worked well. Huge private balcony (8m x 3m). Food was very good value for money. Adequate storage space. Location was overlooking the beach witha a great view of Gibraltar across the bay. You can walk along a beach/coast path to Algeceras which takes about 50 minutes. If you want to take a cab to Gibraltar (about 20km) it costs around eur 25. No doubt you could have taken a bus into Algeciras but we walked and then took a eur 2.10 bus ride to the Gibraltar frontier
Bed was a little firm but not a problem. Beach had very few facilities though - maybe too early in season. A little 'off the beaten track' apart from beach. Pity there was no pool. Staff command of English was poor but that is not really a criticism - just a statement of how the English rely on everyone else to speak their language. Tv had many digital channels - would have been good if just one was in English. No WiFi internet acces detected

I loved this hotel. It was exceptionally clean and the staff did all they could to facilitate our stay in Spain. The restaurant in the hotel offered excellent food for a reasonable price. The hotel is right on the beach so we were able to enjoy that easily. Also each room has a wonderful balcony. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Located in the frontier town of Algeciras, the view of Gibraltar was perfect. With in walking distance to the beach there too. We used this as our location to get to Tarifa beaches, Ronda, Marbella, Estapona, and Gibraltar. Rooms where clean and nice, the staff spoke english and was very courteous. The resturant downstairs was also nice with all meals available. Was a good stay.
Sometimes could hear the next door neighbors, but not that much.

The hotel is conveniently located in a busy area, facing the main port and close to the bus stop for easy transportation. the service is helpful at the reception, and the room is spacious with a nice balcony view. the bathroom is clean and neat, and breakfast is available for a small fee. There are ample parking facilities nearby, making it a good base for travels back to Seville airport.
The hotel lacks non-smoking rooms, which can be bothersome for some guests.

Nice and neat Hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff. Any wish you may have they try to fullfill !! Close to the beach, in walking distance, close to the border of Gibraltar, 15 miles aways, comfortable rooms with bath and shower, very need and clean, aircondition and local breakfirst. I would recommend to make sure you book a front room with terasse and sea view, as it makes a huge difference to the street view room without terrasse, and as you pay the same. Street view room: perfect for a short stay to pass by or for a trip to Gibraltar, long stay beach holiday with a terrasse and sea view room.
Pitty there are just 12 rooms with balcony and sea view, like shown on the internet page! The room we had, had just a little jutty, to step out 30 cm wide and the noisy rood directly in front. The breakfirst is a spanish local one with just a coffee or tea, a juice and a toastado whats like a toasted bread with jam and butter or olive oil, for 5,- € per person a bit to expensive, as arround the corner u pay like 1.50 to 2,- € for the same and with 3 or 4 people its quite an amount to pay on a daily basis... Also 8,- € for the very small and crowded garage per day is a little bit odd, as it mounts up, but as there is no other parking possibilities, you have to live with it.
